You ask about what would be realistic magnitudes for the inputs.
In the model all the inputs are flows and they are given for
a nominal feedrate F=1 [mol/s].

We then get

L, V : should preferably not deviate more than +-1
           from their steady-state values. (It is not possible
           to have L less than -2.7 or V less than -3.2 because
           the physical flows then become negative)
D, B : deviation should not exceed +- 0.5
