Pilot Plant Centenary Celebration

Session 77 - Challenges In Pharmaceutical Process Scale-up - Sponsored by Group 12b, Pilot Plants
This session welcomes presentations on examples of challenges in pharmaceutical process scale-up with focus on pilot plant implementation. Pharmaceutical process areas include catalysis and reaction engineering, separations, crystallization and other unit operations for drug substance development, fermentation, chromatography and other unit operations for bioprocess development, granulation, blending, roller compaction and other unit operations for drug product development. Developments and advances in pilot plant operations and equipment to support pharmaceutical processing are of strong interest as well. Contributions from industry are particularly encouraged.
