Session 3 - Sunday AM Workshop: Polishing Your Problem Solving Skills
Develop confidence and skill in problem solving. This workshop starts with an overview of the skills used by successful problem solvers. Participants will work in talk-aloud pairs to solve puzzles and detective stories. Each will receive feedback about the problem solving process used and listening skills.This activity is repeated several times with increasing complexity of the task as each develops a range of skills used by successful problem solvers. This is one of the workshops developed for the McMaster Problem Solving program. The session is designed for students and for professional engineers of all ages.
