Nanoparticles

Session 361 - Nanoparticles for Functional Coatings
The session will focus on applications and/or synthesis routes of coatings using nanoparticles. Latest reports on particle deposition processes, characterization of the deposited particulate films as well as applications of particulate films are sought. Nanocoatings using both inorganic and organic particles will be highlighted which enhance for example catalytic activity, optical performance, adsorption or separation properties. Authors are encouraged to present the connection between synthesis conditions, chemical and crystal composition, structure and the functionality in specific applications.
