Thermophysical properties are required for the design of industrial processes. The measurements of those properties for ionic liquid + organic solvent mixtures are scarce; however, the number of this kind of works is growing rapidly. Here, densities of [C2mim][BF4] (1) + 1-propanol (2) were determined at temperatures from 313 to 343 K and pressures up 15 MPa by means of a Vibrating Tube Densimeter with an uncertainty of ±0.2 kg/m3. Densities of mixtures were correlated using a 5-Parameter equation. Good representation of data was observed when this equation is used.
