We describe a chem-bio sensor platform in the form of arrays of nanowires for threat detection of chemical and biological compounds. The wires are assembled in arrays using dielectrophoresis. The platform is based on simultaneous optical and electronic detection based on Surface Enhanced Raman and tunneling spectroscopy.
