The congress will be held at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

This University, located in the heart of the city, is housed in an ancient building whose origins go back to the 4th century.

Since Roman times, the building has been subject to various remodeling and changes of use.

In the 7th and 8th centuries it became an important monastery, where classical texts were hand copied to be passed on to future generations.

In the 13th century it was a studium (a center for high level learning), attracting fine minds and pilgrims from many countries.
In the 16th century, it became a university in a modern sense, and a renowned source of science and humanities.

In the map below, one can see the location of the Congress venue in downtown Milano.

The University is at a short walking distance from the S. Ambrogio Subway Stop of the Metro Green Line (or Line Number 2).

The same line has a stop in Piazza Cadorna (Cadorna Subway Stop). This square is the terminal of the Malpensa Express,  the train connecting the Malpensa Airport to downtown Milano.

The Congress venue is not far from the Sforzesco Castle, the Milano Cathedral (Duomo) and La Scala Opera House.
