Abstract

The fault sensitivity of residual generator filters to multiple simultaneous faults is optimized for linear parameter varying (LPV) systems. The filters are synthesized by robust filtering design techniques under a geometric eigenvector assignment constraint. The goal is to design a residual generator providing both high disturbance attenuation and enhanced fault transmission level.
