Abstract

In this paper, we present an unified approach for fault detection andisolation in discrete-time systems affected by noises and faultson measurement and state equations. The proposed robust fault detection filter will be designed underless restrictive conditions compared with classical faultdetection filter. After having parameterized the minimum-time leftinverse of the system, the degrees of freedom remaining availablewill be computed to generate an optimal faults estimation. Thelatter is minimally sensitive to state and measurement noise. Annumerical example is given to illustrate the design of theproposed filter.
