Abstract

The property of losslessness, embraced by systems characterized byparaunitary matrices is crucial in robust design and numericalanalysis of such systems. Here the paraunitary constraint isimposed on the bivariate polynomial matrix factorization algorithmof Guiver and Bose (1982), and an atomic factorization problem isformulated to relate the existing results and get new results.
