Abstract

This paper is concerned with robust performance analysisof sampled-data systems. In particular, we consider the uncertainty of a parameterin the continuous-time plantand study the problem of determining the allowable rangeof the uncertainty around the origin(or equivalently, the allowable range of the parameteraround the nominal value) over which the sampled-data system remains internallystable and a prescribed L2-induced norm(or equivalently, H-infinity performance) level is retained. We provide an effective iterative procedure with guaranteed convergencethat gives an exact allowable parameter range, together with rigorousarguments for the convergence.
